James Hardie has been doing business in NZ for over 70 years and we intend to be here long into the future.

We're a passionate bunch here. Our team are excited about providing our customers with high quality, inspirational products for their homes and buildings. As well as passionate, you'll also find the team at James Hardie to be driven to succeed, open to new ideas, energetic, innovative, straight-shooters, and have a '-can-do' attitude. We're also not big on formal hierarchies so you can feel comfortable talking to anyone in the company about any issues you might have or any ideas you have about how we can keep building our company for the future.

We are always looking for improved performance in our business and this goes for our people too. We have robust measures in place to make sure people are delivering against their agreed objectives, and we expect people to put in a solid effort to get the job done. Yes, we do expect our team to work hard but we reward them accordingly – all of our remuneration systems are designed to reward and recognise high performance. In short, you can be sure your contribution to our business is both recognised and valued.

But it's not all about work! We like to have fun and a laugh too! We have a company social club that are great at organising events throughout the year, and we also encourage teams across the business to get together socially at least once a month just to catch up and 'chew the fat'.
