Can I run Horizon Lining down into the Shower?
Answer: No, you must only cover the tray by 25mm and leave a standoff from the wall.
Can I use Horizon Lining in a shower application?
Answer: Yes, Horizon Lining can be used in a shower application.
Can I use Horizon Lining on the floor?
Answer: No, Horizon Lining is not suitable for flooring applications.
How must internal corners be treated when installing Horizon Lining?
Answer: There must be a 6mm gap left between the sheets with a bond breaker tape behind that is filled with a flexible silicon wet area type sealant or use the aluminium jointers with sealant.
What can I clean Horizon Lining with?
Answer: A damp cloth or a cloth with a non abrasive cleaner, refer to the Horizon Lining Installation manual for recommendations.
What type of adhesive can be used with Horizon Lining?
Answer: James Hardie recommends a good quality wallboard adhesive e.g. Nail bond or no more nails.
When I cut Horizon Lining, do the sheet edges require any special treatment?
Answer: Yes, the cut edges must be well primed with Dulux Acrylic Sealer Undercoat.
Which cutting method will provide the cleanest cut in Horizon Lining?
Answer: The HardiBlade fitted to a circular saw with dust extraction will provide the cleanest cut. Orientate the sheet face up to prevent chipping of the surface.
