Can a waterproofing membrane be applied to a sheet of HardieGroove Lining?
Answer: No, HardieGroove Lining must not be used in an area that requires waterproofing.
Can heavy wall and towel attachments be directly fixed to the Villaboard® Lining?
Answer: The attachment must be through the sheet into the frame.
Can I use HardieGlaze Tile Lining in an shower application?
Answer: Yes, HardieGlaze Tile Lining can be used in a shower application.
Can I use HardieGroove Lining in my bathroom?
Answer: Yes, HardieGroove Lining can be used in a bathroom but not in a shower.
Do I need to waterproof HardiePanel Compressed when used as a shower floor?
Answer: Yes, a water proofing membrane must be provided.
How must internal corners be treated when installing HardieGlaze Tile Lining?
Answer: There must be a 6 mm gap left between the sheets with a bond breaker tape behind that is filled with a flexible silicone wet area type sealant.
When the HardiePanel Compressed Sheet is laid internally and tiled do I require control joints?
Answer: Yes, control joints must be installed and positioned so that the panel size is not bigger than 3.6mm x 2.4mm.
When the HardiePanel Compressed Sheet is laid internally and tiled how should the sheet edges be treated?
Answer: The sheet edges must be glued using the epoxy adhesives.
