Linea home showcases modern living at its best
The clean horizontal lines of Linea weatherboard work beautifully with the expansive surfaces of contemporary architecture
“Using best-in-class products, like James Hardie Linea Weatherboard, enable us to stand behind our guarantees.”
The Signature Homes Long Bay showhome in Auckland is a cleverly designed and inviting two level, 239m2 house that showcases modern living at its best. Warm, open, light and airy, it maximises sunlight and sea views whilst commanding a presence on the street.
Featuring Linea Weatherboard by James Hardie, the Long Bay showhome is influenced in style by houses from the Bungalow era with battened gable end features, louvred shutters and a steep corrugated Colorsteel roof. The colour scheme is neutral, with a white, grey and river stone influenced palette.
Manufactured from fibre cement, Linea Weatherboard can be painted any colour, even the darker shades, as it won’t warp in the sun – a key reason it is used across the range by Signature Homes. Lightweight, yet durable, the cladding is also cost effective both in supply and installation, as well as being easy to maintain, making it a popular choice for builders and homeowners.
The Signature Homes team believe “it is imperative that we use trusted building products, as we understand that a home is one of the biggest investments our customers will ever make. This new show home allows prospective homeowners to see the high quality design and finishes of a Signature Home.”
